What happened
Critical Music's events page lists two December nights outside London. On Friday 4 December it brings Critical X Hospitality, billed as Hospital30 x Critical Sound, to Stealth and Rescue Rooms in Nottingham from 11pm to 5am. On Friday 11 December it takes Critical Sound to Volks Nightclub, 3 Madeira Drive in Brighton, from 11pm to 7am.
Why it matters
The Nottingham page calls it the first Hospital showcase in the city for a minute, and puts Hospital's 30th anniversary programme next to Critical's night. Brighton is a return to a venue the label has used before, with the label boss on the bill.
Who is involved
The Nottingham page lists Spectral. The Brighton page lists Kasra, QZB and Spectral. A third party listing adds more names for Brighton, but the label's own page is the one we are relying on.
What happens next
Both pages link to tickets and a Facebook RSVP. Brighton tickets are on Skiddle. The label's London night is at fabric on 23 October, which we cover separately.
The duo's seventh studio album arrives on Friday 9 October with guests including J Hus, Little Simz and Skrillex, and they have announced UK and European arena dates for February to April 2027.
Critical Music's night runs from 11pm to 6am on Friday 23 October with Kasra, En:vy, VISLA, QZB, Spectral and Waeys among the names, and the organisers say several ticket tiers have gone.
